| SCHEDULE AND RESULTS |
The Alan Hall Memorial San Diego Cup dates to 1992 or possibly prior to that year. Up until 2000 this competition was called the San Diego Cup. In the 2000/2001 season the cup was renamed after Master Alan Hall of England in memoriam who past away of Cancer.
Masters, Major, 1st and 2nd division teams are entered in this single elimination tournament which runs throughout the regular season. Preliminary elimination games are schedule for November 1, 2009. The Round of 32 games will be played on December 6, 2009. Round of 16, Quarterfinals and subsequent round dates are yet to be determined later this year for the 2010 schedule.
Only players rostered to each team are eligible to play. You can only play for one team in this competition. Once you play a Alan Hall Memorial San Diego Cup game for a team you are cup tied. If you transfer to another team you are not eligible to play in a American Freedom Cup or Alan Hall Memorial Cup game.
If Cup game ends in a tie, the game
will be decided by penalty kicks (5 v 5, 1 v 1 sudden death if needed until
a winner is determined).
If you register in the middle of the season for a Masters, Major, 1st or 2nd
division team and have not played in the Alan Hall Memorial San Diego Cup
you can play in subsequent round games.
The Tournament Director, Gerhard Neuendorff, will settle any disputes that may arise during this competition.
